Tranquility and space are central to the Wulpenweid. Relax in our wellness garden with Barrel sauna and Jacuzzi. For children we have a small playground with trampoline.

Our animals
At the back of our yard are the stables of ponies Ymme, Puck and Touch. They are not riding ponies, so unfortunately our guests cannot ride them. However, they love attention and enjoy an apple or carrot from time to time.
Next to the stables of Ymme, Puck and Touch is the pen of our two mini pigs Gin and Tonic. These two curious outlet noses will warmly welcome you, especially if you arrive with some leftover vegetables and/or fruit from the previous day.
Sustainable and eco-friendly
At the Wulpenweid we strive to live and recreate as energy neutral as possible. On our roof and at the back of the yard we have installed a total of 51 solar panels that provide us with more than enough electricity.
Four Solar Collectors help keep water for a hot shower and the heater at temperature. A power storage unit will be installed in late 2023 to ensure energy efficiency during the winter months as well.
We separate Paper / Plastic / Organic waste / Glass and residual waste at our recycling center in designated containers.
Truly Wulpenweids...
Settle down at the Wulpenweid and enjoy the wide views and privacy offered by our spacious garden. From May through the end of September, we have a variety of flowers, shrubs, plants, and trees blooming.
From the Allium (bulb onion) to our purple heather and yellow gorse, you can enjoy our well-groomed yard throughout several months of the year. Away from the gardens on a strip of land on the west side of our yard is a small playground with an inground trampoline and a picnic table at which you can collectively share your island experiences with other guests.
Beach House Wulpenweid
New! Starting from mid-April 2025 at the Wulpenweid
Enjoy your "own" beach house at Paal 15! If you have booked a stay with us then you can rent our beach house from about mid-April to mid-September. You are not allowed to sleep overnight in there, but you no longer have to lug around with beach chairs, Windshield and a sun screen, these are already included. You can rent our beach house for a weekend, midweek, week or possibly per day.
Did you get hungry during your beautiful day at the beach? Then you can enjoy yourself at the beach pavilion Peek aan Zee, for a relaxed atmosphere, a nice glass of wine and some of the tasty dishes.
Location: From the Wulpenweid, take the new Schettersweid cycle path, then you can cycle to Paal 15 in 10 minutes. This is also a beautiful route through the forest and dunes. Of course you can also go by car, there is a large parking lot at the site. Beach house Wulpenweid is located on the south side number 42.
Rental period: On your arrival day from 10.00 am you can use the beach house and until the day of departure 6.00 pm.
Rental price: € 39,50 per day
Included as standard: 4 adjustable beach chairs, Windshield with accessories, sun screen, table

Relax and unwind at Wellness Garden Wulpenweid
The Wellness Garden Wulpenweid is located in our yard. Before or during your stay you can reserve time blocks of 2 hours per day to relax and use the barrel sauna and/or jacuzzi.
